Youths are backbone of BJP: Koul | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 24: Terming youth as the backbone of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), State General Secretary (Org) Ashok Koul said that it is the youth only who can take the party to newer heights and the future of the party belongs to them only. Addressing a meeting of State Office bearers of Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) including those who have recently joined the party fold under the ongoing programme "Yuva Jodo Abhiyaan", Koul lauded the performance of BJYM and said that in the last one month many youth across the State has joined BJP which has shown public's faith in the saffron party. He also stressed on the formula of "One booth ten youth" for the youth wing and said that in the upcoming elections this formula will be adopted so that the party's performance at the grass root level should be improved. He also said that the sole purpose of the party is not only increasing its membership but also serving the country in a humanitarian way. After the meeting, joining of 60 youth from Ward No. 26 also took place at the same venue under the leadership of District President BJYM Ajay Vaid and Vice-President Rajeev Dubey where State President BJYM Munish Sharma was the chief guest. Addressing the gathering Munish Sharma apprised the youth about callous approach of the government which has failed to provide jobs to the youth who are holding professional degrees and diplomas. He also criticized so called young Chief Minister of the State who is ready to give permanent living to Pakistan returned militants along with their families with offer of employment and other facilities. |
