JAMMU, Aug 24: In order to carry out the branch cutting and general maintenance work of 33 KV Bhalwal-I Feeder, the power supply to Roop Nagar, Durga Nagar, Chinore, and adjoining areas fed from 33 KV Bhalwal-I feeder emanating from 132/33 KV Grid Station Janipur will remain affected on 26-08-2012 (Sunday) from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out the Branch cutting and general maintenance work of 33 KV G-4 Gladni-Residency line, the power supply to part of Gujjar Nagar, Khatikan Talab, Shahidi Chowk, Part of Raghunath Bazar, Gurudwara Sunder Singh Road, Dak Bungalow, Hans Raj Park, Part of Kanak Mandi, Lakhdata Bazar, Rajender Bazar, PHE Gujjar Nagar and adjoining areas fed from 33 KV G-4 Gladni-Residency line will remain affected on 26-08-2012 (Sunday) from 6 a.m. to 8.30 a.m.
The power supply to Bakshi Nagar, Shakti Nagar, Rajpura, Maheshpura, Rehari, part of Sarwal and adjoining areas also remained affected due to work on 33 KV Canal- Medical Line on 26-08-2012 (Sunday) from 6.30 a.m. to 12 Noon.
Similarly, to carry out maintenance of 132 KV and 33 KV at Grid Station, Canal, the shutdown of KV Grid Station Canal on 26-08-2012 from 6 hrs to 11 hrs will be observed.
The power supply to Miransahib, Canal, Tope, Satwari, Company Bagh and Medical College etc shall be affected.
Likewise, repair and commissioning of 33 KV Capacitor Bank at Grid Station Bari Brahmana-I, the shut down of 132/33 KV Grid Station Bari Brahmana-I on 26-08-2012 from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. will affect power supply to Bari Brahmana, Industrial area, Kartholi, Vijaypur, Jakh, Narbada, Birpur Industrial Complex.
Meanwhile, power supply on 26-08-2012 from 5 hrs to 11.00 hrs will be affected to the areas of Old Jammu city, Gandhi Nagar, Nanak Nagar, Trikuta Nagar, Channi Himmat, Sainik Colony, Bathandi, Transport Nagar etc due to repair works
Besides, the preventive maintenance at 132/33 KV Grid Station Mahanpur, the power supply on 26-08-2012 from 9 a.m. to 2.00 p.m will be affected to the areas of Basohli, Mahanpur, Bhoond, Bani and partially Billawar Tehsil .
