| Gupta appreciates CM for conceding local demands | | | DODA, FEB 06 Appreciating Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad for speedy development of Bhaderwah- ‘a mini-Kashmir’, senior Congress leader PCC Executive member Naresh Gupta said that ever since Azad took over as Chief Minister, the State witnessed all round development. In a statement issued here today, Gupta alleged that the successive governments had relegated this famous tourist spot to the background on political considerations but after taking over the reigns of the state government, Azad accorded priority to the development of hitherto neglected areas. He said that the major demands like setting up of a Development Authority, establishment of University Campus, Industrial Estate and widening of roads have been conceded. Assuring the people that the Congress led coalition government would not lag behind in equitable development of all the regions, especially the areas neglected in the past, the Congress leader asked the people to remain united and strengthen the hands of the Chief Minister, who is tirelessly working for the speedy development of the State including Bhaderwah.
