| Army jawan makes abortive bid on life | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Aug 24: An army jawan made an abortive bid on life in his regiment in Domana area today.
According to police sources, army jawan identified as Kishan Kumar of 20 Mahar Regiment fired himself with his service weapon in his barrack here at Lala- Da- Bagh locality falling under the jurisdiction of Domana Police Station.
The injured was rushed to the Militiray Hospital, Satwari where his condition is stated to be critical. The reason behind the extreme step yet has to be ascertained, a police officer giving information said. Meanwhile, a case in this connection has been registered by police. |
