| GRP finds girl child, laptop at Rly Stn. | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 25: Government Railway Police (GRP) today found a girl child at Railway Station Jammu.
According to sources, the girl identified as Asha daughter of Sukhdev Raj of Katra (near Asia Hotel), age about 6 years was roaming at Railway Station Jammu in nervous condition.
The GRP personnel deployed at Railway Station Jammu when noticed the panicky movement of the girl came across and enquired about her whereabouts.
On scrutiny of her whereabouts, SHO GRP Jammu deputed HC Keshawanand No. 264-GRP to hand over the said girl to her parents at Katra. Meanwhile, one of the GRP Police personnel ASI Romesh Chander ( I/C Commando) found a Laptop in Jehlum Express. The owner was located as Dr Sandeep Dubey C/O 53/BD Kupwara. Dr Dubey is serving as a Captain in Indian Army posted at Kashmir. The costly Laptop was handed over its owner Dr Dubey.
The Captain praised the role of GRP Jammu for its honesty and dedication. |
