| MLC Jugal announces Rs 30 lakh for electrification of Machail | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KISHTWAR, Aug 25: Former Minister and Congress MLC Jugal Kishore Sharma announced an amount of Rs 30 lakh for electrification of Machail village out of his Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
Sharma made this announcement during a party workers' meeting at Atholi, Padder. The announced funds will be utilized for laying of 11 KV transmission line from Gulabgarh to Machail. Sharma's announcement came in wake of his visit to Machail where he paid obeisance at the holy shrine of Mata Chandi. Earlier on his arrival at Atholi- Paddar, the party workers extended a rousing welcome to Sharma.
On the occasion, Mohammad Aslam Malik briefed the MLC about the problems being faced by the people of Paddar Tehsil and discussed various local developmental issues with him.
He thanked Sharma for providing Rs 30 lakh for electrification of Machail village.
Malik put forth the demand of establishment of Degree College at Paddar, setting up of ITI unit and start of work on power projects.
Jugal Kishore Sharma after giving patient hearing to various demands raised by the local public assured them that he will project their genuine demands before the higher ups in government so that the same could be redressed.
Those who spoke on the occasion include Irshad Ahmed, Amar Singh, Ghulam Mohammad, Shadi Lal, Dular Singh, Ishar Lal, Narinder Singh, Ashok Tickoo and others.
