YJKL condemns PYC's campaign for empowering Panchayats | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 27 : Youth of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh (YJKL) condemned the Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC)'s fake campaign for implementation of 73rd and 74th amendment in Panchayati Raj in Jammu and Kashmir. In a press handout issued here today, Chairman YJKL, Suresh Ajay Magotra said that we feel that in spite of speaking for employment for unemployed youth of the state, they have launched a false campaign for the implementation of 73rd and 74th amendments for the empowerment of Panchayats. The campaign is just to hoodwink the people as their parent organization Congress is main coalition partner in the state government. Magotra said PYC leaders must convince or launch protest against their senior leaders enjoying portfolios in the sate cabinet for providing employment to the youth. YJKL also demanded that teachers who got selected 2 months back are still waiting for joining and facing hardship due to economic issues. State govt. is not concerned about their joining. We appeal to the chief minister Jenab Omar Abdullah to look personally in to this matter and ordered inquiry into delay in appointing teachers by education department. |
