| NSS volunteers seek removal of program officer | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 27 : N.S.S Volunteers of GGM science college staged a protest at Shaeedi sthal outside the college gate to protest against alleged misuse of funds, nepotism and discriminatory behaviour of NSS program officer . Some 50 volunteers gathered at college gate and alleged that program officer Prof. Rajinder Singh harassed the volunteers using derogatory language and was misusing funds meant for NSS activities. Rajinder Singh, Kamal Preet Singh and Rahul Sharma demanded probe in the expenditure made by the program officer in the NSs activities. They alleged that principal Dr. Satinder Singh was supporting the corrupt ways of the program officer and was not ready to listen the volunteers. The agitated volunteers demanded that Prof. Rajinder Singh be immediately replaced as the NSS program officer. On the occasion senior volunteer Gagan Deep Singh, Atinder Pal Singh, Gajender Pal Singh, Bhavneet Singh, Ravinder Kumar, Rahul Bamotra, Arun Sharma were also present. |
