| Six week EDP on Mobile Service Technology starts at Srinagar | | | SRINAGAR, AUGUST 01 –A 6-week long Entrepreneurship Development Programme on “Mobile Service Technology” started here at Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) today. The objective of the programme is to acquaint the prospective entrepreneurs with necessary technical, entrepreneurial and commercial aspects related to mobile service technology so that they are in a position to establish their own ventures in the field. The programme inaugurated by Minister of State for Rural Development, Mr Babu Singh is first of its kind in the state being organized in collaboration with M/s Innovations Gupkar Road, Srinagar. Dr. M. I. Parray, Director JKEDI in his welcome address emphasized the need for such specialized training programme in the potential areas of business so that it could address the basic problem of unemployment at large. The Minister for Rural Development in his inaugural address applauded the efforts of JKEDI in organizing such important programmes. He stressed the need for organizing such programmes regularly. He also deliberated on various issues related to IT sector, which has tremendous scope for employment generation. However, he stressed the need for developing eco-friendly mechanism while undertaking any such activity. |
