8/29/2012 11:54:40 PM
early times report
Jammu, Aug 29: A large numbers of state BJYM workers staged a vigorous protest against the Congress led UPA Government to register its strong anger and opposition to its latest scam concerning the allotment of the Coal Mines. The protest rally formed the part of the National level protest being held by the BJYM units of the various States as decided by its National leadership. The protest rally was led by Munish Sharma, State President, BJYM and held at Dogra Chowk, near Press Club where effigy of Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of India was torched to draw the attention to his direct complicity in the allotment of coal mines causing loss to the public exchequer of astronomical amount of money.
Addressing the rally, Munish Sharma, said that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is fully involved in this gigantic scam as Coal Ministry was working under his office and unusually large number of coal mines were allotted without inviting competitive bids. The coal mine scam is up till now mother of all scams and has been detected by CAG, a constitutional authority meant to oversee the actions of the Government having financial component. The lame excuses and facile explanation given by Congress and Dr. Manmohan Singh as also finding fault with CAG can not diminish the enormity of their wrong doing. On one hand, common man is groaning under sky high prices and on the other hand, Congress led UPA Government is pursuing generation of illegal monies by unfair and illegal means unmindful of common man's suffering. Sharma added that in the State also Congress in partnership with NC is pursuing the same agenda of enjoying the pelf and power and is reveling in corruption and looting public exchequer. Prominent among those who participated in the rally were Sanjay Baru, Vijay Choudary, Surinder Choudhary, Karan Sharma, Ajay Vaid, Arjun Sharma, Kr Rajeshwar Singh, Makson Tickoo, Chetan Mehram, Bandeep Kumar, Chetan Manhas, Rinku Chouhan, Vishal Nishal, Sunil Sharma, Manav Mahajan, Sunil Kumar, Gourav Manjotra, Kuldeep Mattoo, Sagar, Avinash, Pawan Singh, Avikash Sharma, Rajendra Singh, Ashwani Sharma, Rahul Gupta and others.
