| Deputation of Plus 2 lecturers calls on MLA | | |

bhadarwah, Aug 29 : A deputation of the All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum Doda under the leadership of Distt. President Dr Anis Ahmed met Member Legislative Assembly Bhaderwah, Mohammad Sharief Niaz and discussed various demands with him. Amoung these demands it was highlighted that the transfers from Distt. Doda to Leh/Kargil may be stopped with immediate effect as there are 333 vacant posts already in this district. Many Higher Secondary Schools in the remote parts of the district are without lecturers.
There are 140 posts vacant alone in Bhadarwah Constituency. In Tehsil Doda 120 and in Tehsil Thathri 73 posts of lecturers are lying vacant. Besides, regularisation of lecturers, 40% quota to Plus 2 lecturers in Higher Education Department, incentives to the higher qualification and implementation of running grade was also stressed.
MLA assured that he will raise these demands with the Chief Minister and Commissioner Secretary and expressed concern over the grave vacancy situation of lecturers in the district. |
