Kishtwar, Aug 29 : Continuing its drive against drug menace and bovine smuggling in District Doda, on a specific information special teams led by SI Kiren Kumar of DPL Doda laid nakas at Ghat Road Doda, Pul Doda and recovered 05 No. bovine animals from a vehicle (Tata Mobile) bearing registration No.1423-JK02AH and 12 bovine animals from vehicle (Mini Truck) bearing registration No.4081-JK06. In this regard, two separate FIRs No. 204 and 205 u/s 188 RPC have been registered at P/S Doda against the accused namely Driver Ajaz Ahmed S/o Jalal in R/o Kaila Drabra Pranoo, Ghulam. Nabi S/o Bashir Ahmed R/o Bharath, Irshad Ahmed S/o Ghulam Nabi R/o Drabra Pranoo and Irshad Ahmed S/o Gul Mohammad. Malik R/o Labbar Marmat (Businessman) who has been arrested from the spot and investigation set in to motion.
It is pertinent to mention here that general public of District Doda had raised this problem in different public forums organized by the Police. The whole drive was being closely monitored by SP Doda Mohammed Arif Rishu. |
