| Attachment of tax defaulter's property ordered | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 30 : The Collector, Deputy Commissioner Commercial Taxes , in exercise of powers vested in him under the provisions of Section 64/66 of the Jammu and Kashmir Land Revenue Act Samvat 1996, has ordered attachment of the moveable , immoveable property of Ram Lal Gupta, to recover the arrears amounting to Rs 9598367.84 for the year 2006-07 and 2007-08.
The attachment orders have been issued as Ram Lal -276 Extn Janipur, Jammu M/S Prince Wine & Prov store Panjthirthi , Jammu , even after serving a writ of demand notice by the department, has failed to deposit the outstanding arrears till date. |
