| Doda schools lack proper infrastructure | | | Early Times Report
Doda, Aug 30: The education system in rural areas of the state is going from bad to worse which is quite visible particularly in erstwhile District Doda. Here the students are compelled to sit on open grounds, they have no shelter to cover themselves in these hot days and same is the case during winters.Various schools of District Doda are under construction from a long past, and the sufferings of students have never been considered by the authorities and Government. Various schools of the area like Bhagwah, Desa, Tantna, Gundna ,Kastigarh, Jodhpur, Mohalla, Malwana, Khankoot, Jatheli, Dhara etc are under construction while the students are suffering due to lack of proper class rooms. However, the teachers are enjoying their services according to their wishes and attend their duties in schools with their own interest.As most of the teachers which were deputed in their areas are now transferred to some other places. It was the policy not to transfer the ReT teachers but the Education Department has made fun of this government order by transfering these ReT teachers from one place to another. Meanwhile, President All India Students Federation Unit Doda Mukesh Parihar has requested to the Chief minister Omar Abdullah to seek inquiry into the matter so that the violation of ReT Act would not take place. |
