| ReT teacher held for sodomising minor in Budhal | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Aug 31: A Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) teacher posted at a Government Primary School in Budhal of Rajouri district was arrested for allegedly sodomising class 3rd student.
According to local reports accused teacher has been identified as Ishfaq Ahmed, posted at Government Primary School, Jagrian village in Rajouri. Police said that following a complaint from locals and family members the accused was arrested on Thursday for allegedly sodomising a third standard student. "According to complaint the teacher, while on his way home took his eight-year-old student to the nearby maize field and committed the crime," the police said. "
A case has been registered under Section 377 of RPC and investigations are in Progress, police said adding that medical examination of the minor was conducted at District Hospital Rajouri. "The matter has also been brought to the notice of the higher ups in education department for further action, police said. |
