| 114 RD works completed under SGRY in Khag | | | Budgam, February 07
Under centrally sponsored Swaran Grameen Rozgar Yojna, (SGRY) 114 rural development works have been completed at a cost of Rs.27.76 lakh in Khag block of Budgam district so far. Besides 1160 quintals of rice worth Rs.7200 were provided to the beneficiaries and 16000 mandays of work generated.
This information was given to Additional District Development Commissioner Budgam during his visit to Khag today. He took stock of status of development works under execution in the block. He was told that under Border Area Development programme (BADP) 16 development works have been completed, claiming Rs.14 lakh upto ending January last.
Under Indra Awas Yojna (IAY), construction of 118 low cost housing units is in progress and Rs.16.50 lakh have been disbursed to the people living below poverty line for the purpose.
Additional District Development Commissioner called for maintaining the tempo of development works in the block. |
