| Awareness camp on Rinderpest | | | Srinagar, February 07
An awareness camp was organized by Rinderpest control office at Ishem Uri, a far-flung village situated very close to Loc. A large number of people including women attended the camp who were informed about various aspects of Rinderpest disease, its causes and preventive measures. Pamphlets and posters containing information about bird flu, Rinderpest and importance of periodic deforming of live stock were distributed among the participants.
The cattle rearers were also educated about livestock and poultry development activities.
Joint Director Poultry and Deputy Director, Animal Husbandry who were present in the camp responded to the queries posed by the participants. |
