| NRHM awareness camp held at Kupwara | | | Kupwara, February 07
Rs. 20 lakh have been incurred under National Rural Health Mission in Kupwara district so far during this year.
This was informed at an awareness camp regarding sensitization about the scheme which was presided over by District Development Commissioner at Sub-district Hospital Kupwara.
The participants were acquainted with the parameters of the mission which include awareness regarding child health, adolescent health and prevalence of various diseases in the area besides family planning programme.
It was given out that 80 midwives were imparted training for taking care of maternal problems besides 90 ASHA workers were trained for conducting maternal and child care for which Rs. 3.60 lakh have been provided as incentive. |
