Dogra Front and Shiv Sena burn effigies of interlocutors | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 1: Dogra Front and Shiv Sena activists led by President Ashok Gupta today took out a procession against interlocutors and burnt effigies of interlocutors to give vent to their resentment against their report terming the same as a exercise against the country, influenced by the opinions and proposals of the few individuals from the valley only. Ashok Gupta while addressing the protestors outside the Press Club said that the interlocutors have mentioned in the report that the part of J&K which have been occupied by Pakistan which is POK, they have called the same area as Pakistan administered that means they do not treat the area as a part of India. "Interlocutors have done a great injustice to the people who have been displaced from the area occupied by Pakistan in 1947, by ignoring them, he said. He also maintained that the report does mention a word about resentment brewing in Ladakh and Jammu region against the valley dominated govt and the centre ignoring the basic needs of the region. And all this signals that report has entrusted merely to appease the valley based elements. Suram Singh, Lal Singh, Prem Bhagat, Suresh Kumar and Sushma Devi, also spokes on the occasion. |
