| Deputation calls on Jugal Kishore | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 1 : A deputation of Rehari Shopkeepers Association led by its President Naveen Bali today called on MLC, Jugal Kishore Sharma and apprised him of their problems and demands seeking an immediate redressal to the same.
The deputation demanded installation of traffic lights at Rehari Chungi for smooth plying of vehicles besides asking for opening of road adjoining old Rehari and new Rehari which is causing much inconvenience to the commuters besides jeopardizing the traffic movement.
Deputy Commissioner, Sanjeev Verma, and SSP, Manmohan Singh accompanied the MLC.
The MLC assured the deputation that the matter will be taken up with the concerned authorities for a viable solution. Among others, General Secretary Rehari Shopkeepers Association Parveen, Lokash Kapoor, Ajay Gupta, Rajan Gupta, Sanjay Gupta, Satish Jandyal and other local persons of the area were also present. |
