| Jammu West PDP unit protests against irregular power supply | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Sept 1: a large number of PDP activists led by Jammu (West) President Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Puneet Jamwal, hold strong protest and demonstration against State Govt. especially against power development department (PDD).
Puneet Jamwal President Jammu West along with ward presidents, assembled at Janipur PDD Sub Div Office Jammu. Amidst slogans against PDD, the protestors demanded there should be scheduled supply of electricity in the Janipur ,Hyderpura , Sultanpura, Patoli , Toph , Sarwal and other areas having power supply from Janipur Sub Division.
Puneet Jamwal said that these areas are worst affected as far as the power curtailments are concerned. Advocate Majid Shah said the power curtailments during night time when people are left helpless especially in the absence of lineman to fix the any power related problem.
The other senior leaders present on the occasion were Mohd Mustak Disst V President, Shamsher Singh, Geeta Thakur, Mohan Chowdhary, Sohan Singh Soni, Rahul Sharma, Ankur Kolhi and others. |
