| NYCs highlight their pending demands | | |

Jammu, Sept 1: State activists along with distt presidents National Youth Cops (NYCs) assembled at Rani Park Jammu to protest against criminal silence of state government about pending genuine demands of 8000 NYCs selected all across the state. In a meeting held under the supervision of Vice President of NYC, Asif Ali Bhat the participants deliberated upon their demands and discussed the future strategy to highlight genuine demands of cops. Distt President Vice president Asif Bhat said that the dialogue process with govt is futile as the state government has turned deaf ear to their demands. He said the NYCs will continue with their scheduled state level Jammu division protest as on Sept 8. State Gen Secy Yaser Arafat, Cashier Jagdeep Singh demanded to release pending honorarium with an immediate effect.
Among others present in the meeting included State Joint Secretary Sayed Baakar Ali Jafri, Musrat Mushtaq Ahmed, Gourav Suneel and Anu Verma.
