JIAR holds freshers party to welcome juniors

Jammu, Sept 1: Seniors of the Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research (JIAR) accorded a warm welcome to juniors in a fresher's party held here on Saturday. Dr Roop Lal Sharma, Chairman of the Institute was the chief guest on the occasion. Students presented impressive cultural programme in welcome of juniors. The performances in singing and dancing enthralled the audience. A special contest was also organised to choose the best couple for Mr and Miss fresher. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Sharma said that it was a best tradition in the professional colleges to organise fresher and farewell parties. He said the products of JIAR have been doing commendable job in the upliftment of the Ayurveda and stressed upon the freshers to prove their mettle in the field by dint of their hard work and perseverance. He urged the students to make best positive use of the social networking to reach the masses with best possible remedies of Ayurveda.
