| Gulshan re-elected President Photographers Union | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 2 : Gulshan Chargotra has been elected as President of Jammu Photographers Union (Regd.),Jammu Provience, Jammu Elections to elect new office bearers of the Union were held at Jammu on Sunday at Hotel Savoy, Residency Road, Jammu, in Which Photographers from all over Jammu Province Including Kishtwar, Doda, Rajouri, Poonch, Udhampur, Katra, Samba and other areas took part. Gulshan Chargotra, Who has been declared winner for the third time for the post of President. Among other office bearers of the Union elected were Sanjeev Bakshi as General Secretary, Cashier Bharat Bhushan Sharma. The elections were held at peaceful atmosphere Under the supervision of Election commis sionars Anoop Uppal an Manohar Lal, Alias Bittu. Newly elected President and General Secretary of the Union have been authorized to appoint other office bearers as early as possible. Speaking on the Occasion, Gulshan Chargotra assured the photographers that he will do his best to solve the difficulties being faced by them in the profession and urged for cooperation from them. He also lauded the role of Police for their support in peaceful conduct of elections and hoped for same in future as well. |
