Takes out candle march

JAMMU, Sept 2: To pray for the safety of an abducted youth Sanjeev Singh-who is missing for the past 72 hours, hundreds of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena workers gathered at Rani Park and took out a candle march from Rani Park to City Chowk. While addressing the gathering, Ashok Gupta stated that the candle march is in support of the family of the abducted to let them know that Dogra Front and Shiv Sena are there with them in their time of agony. He appealed to the IGP Jammu Zone and SSP Jammu to take initiative and expedite investigation to look out for Sanjeev. Gupta said that the kidnapping cases in the city have increased and appealed to J&K Police to take some actions and find out the people who are responsible for such dreadful acts. He further stated that the crime in the city has increased and there have been various cases of chain snatching, robberies and in an appeal to the IGP and SSP to take initiative to reduce the crime rate and bring back peace in the city of temples.
