| NCSU organizes awareness programme on PSG, RTI Acts | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 2 : National Conference Students Union organized awareness programme to educate students and research scholars about the Public Services Guarantee (PSG) Act and Right to Information Act (RTI) Act in Nehru Hostel and Vivekanand Hostel of Jammu University
Addressing the gathering Province President NCSU, Rakesh Singh Chib, said the Omar Abdullah led coalition government in the state is committed to empower the people and make governance more energetic, responsive, transparent and accountable.
He said that the legislations like the Public Services Guarantee Act along with the State Accountability Commission Act, Right to Information Act and the State Vigilance Commission Act are visionary initiatives of Omar Abdullah to ensure transparency and to guarantee delivery of public services to the people in a time bound manner. On the occasion, a large number of youth joined NCSU. |
