| 11 militants cross LoC, capture high school | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Sept 4 : Manpur area in Rajouri district witnessed high drama today when around 11 militants in army uniform forced entry into government high school and directed the teachers and students to vacate the building. Sensing trouble, the teachers acting on the dictate of militants vacated the building in no time and asked students to go their respective homes , reports said. Soon after the army swung into action and cordoned off the school. However, by the time the troops arreived, the militants had fled to some unknown destination. The troops launched a massive search operation which was in progress when last reports came in. The militants, it is believed sneaked into this part of the state early this morning and sought refuge in the school. No official was available for comment. |
