| Sarpanch laments neglect of Kandi belt in Kathua | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Sept 4: Time and again govt has underlined that Kandi area in the Kathua would be given priority on all fronts of development but things on ground realities is completely different said Sarpanch Ramesh Gupta of Panchayat Hatli. Highlighting the issues of peoples of Kandi belt, Sarpanch Hatli said that more than nine Panchayats in Hatli area are reeling under severe crisis of water, electricity, roads and lack of proper of pathways for several villages. He also alleged that the existing MP and MLA of the area have shown disinterest towards the developments in the area.
Ironically the health care services of all nine Panchayats are catered by one Ayurvedic Dispensary which also at times is managed by Nursing Orderlies (NOs) in absence of doctor.
He demanded that state Govt should give the special focus on these Panchayats areas to uplift the development works in order to bring the people in developed state. |
