| Students hold protest against Director, Law School | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 4: Alleging that Director Law School Prof Kulwant Singh has misbehaved with a female Senior Assistant Professor, a large number of Law School students today held a protest demonstration on Jammu University campus. More than 200 students of the Law School, Jammu University gathered at the Law School and alleged that Prof Singh misbehaved with her in front of the students in the class adding that he intentionally humiliated her and used some un-parliamentary words. The students alleged that many times in the past Prof Kulwant Singh has misbehaved with most of the students especially girls. A student alleged that Professor Kulwant Singh is already handling three main posts that is Dean of Law Faculty, HoD Law Department and Director, The Law School due to which he is suffering from burden of work and which ultimately results in frustration and misbehave with students. The students are demanding for an immediate action against director and they have warned the authorities that they will not let the law school function until and unless a new director will be appointed. |
