| LC considers and returns appropriation bills | | Karra lays HRC annual report for the year 2005-06 | | Jammu, February 07
Minister for Finance, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Mr. Tariq Hameed Karra today laid on the table of the house “ the Annual Report of the Jammu and Kashmir State Human Rights Commission alongwith the Action Taken Report for the year 2005-06.”
Legislative Council also considered and returned two bills moved by Mr. Karra. “ A Bill to authorize payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the consolidated fund of the Jammu and Kashmir State for the services of the financial year 2006-07. (L.A, Bill No. 7 of 2007) as passed by the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly.”
“ A Bill to provide for the withdrawal of certain sums from and out of the consolidated fund of the Jammu and Kashmir State for the services of the Financial year 2007-08. (L.A, Bill No.8 of 2007) as passed by the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly.”
These bills have already been passed by legislative Assembly.
Mr. Ashok Kumar Sharma, Mr. P. Namgyal and Prof. Bhim Singh participated in a discussion while the bills were at consideration stage.
