| Police recovered abducted minor girl, kidnapper held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Sep 5: Police today recovered a kidnapped girl and arrested one person in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir. Police reports said that on 02-08-2012, a written complaint was lodged at Police Post Sangaldan that one minor girl namely Rabia (Name Changed) was kidnapped by one Tanveer Ahmed (age 20 yrs) S/O Nazir Ahmed Najar R/O Kantha Morh, Tehsil and District Ramban. On this complaint, a case FIR No. 56/2012 U/S 363/109 RPC was registered at Police Station Gool and a team was constituted under the close supervision of Anil Magotra, SP Ramban. On September 4, on specific inputs, a raid was conducted in Dharamkund area and the kidnapped girl was recovered, police added. "The minor girl was handed over to her parents after completing legal formalities while the accused was arrested,'' police added.
The investigation into the case is in progress. |
