NYC organizes protest, demands regularization

JAMMU, Sept 8 :   A mammoth gathering of National Youth Corps  (NYC)  activists from  different districts of Jammu province under the leadership of Vice President Asif Ali Bhat and other leaders on Saturday held protest at Press Club against  non redressal of their various long pending  demands which include, regularisation, regular  monthly payment, considering NYC for State/Central Sponsored Schemes in Rural/Urban Development Department,  imparting of government training, assignment of authority, responsibility and accountability in writing, special package etc.   Asif  said that Rs 2,500 per month  is insufficient to meet three square meals a day and demanded enhancement of same.  The protesters raised slogans demanding government to resolve their demands.
State Gen Secratery, Yasar Arfat said our future is every thing for us and by darking the future of 8000 NYC youth of the JK, the future of state will no long sutation and we are dedicated to fight till the achievement of our genuine demands or till death.
While interacting with the protestors, State Accountant, Jagdeep Singh said our demands are genuine in the light of justice. The policies of J&K Govt. throwing the future of youth in the sea waves which is not bearable to all. He also requested to national land international media and agencies to assist we person. State Joint Secretary, Sayed Bakar Ali Jafri said a large number of vacancies are available in govt. Departments then why J&K Govt. hesitating in continuing observing there 8000 youth their in and why throwing towards agitation path he also said we have already experiences of RDD, UDD, Tourism education, social welfare and what’s its function will remain to we person.
The other who spoke include Anu Verma, Vikas Sudan state spokesman, Ashfaq, Gorav Bazak, Mushlaq Bhat, Abid Sheikh, Vikey Thakour, Gigar, Ajay etc.
