| 2 Petrol pumps penalized for short filling | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 8: A team of officers of Legal Metrology conducted inspection of Petrol pumps in adjoining areas of old Jammu city today and penalized two petrol pumps for short filling of fuel here today.
As per official statement two pumps situated in Patta Bohri and other situated at Akhnoor road, were found to be guilty of short filling to the consumers by 30 to 40ml against the 5 lt the limit which is beyond the permissible error. Both the pumps were sealed by inspector Pooja Kumari and sales were stopped. Meanwhile a sum of Rs 10,000 were imposed on each dealer and dealers were directed to get their dispensing units corrected so that the consumer can get exact quantity of product paid for. |
