| OPD facilities at CGHS Wellness Centre inaugurated | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 8: After persistent efforts by the Central Government Pensioners’ Welfare Association (CG PWA), J&K, Jammu; the Outdoor Patient Department (OPD) medical facilities have been commissioned at Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) Dispensary/Wellness Centre in its new premises at Exhibition Ground (Directorate of Industries Complex).
The facilities were inaugurated by Dr SC Anand, Addl. Director CGHS Chandigarh, Dr. Kuljeet Kour and a large number of central pensioners including VP Sharma, Prem Gupta, B K Raina and others. 25th CGHS Dispensary/Wellness Centre was inaugurated on June 4 last in the accommodation provided in the Police Hospital Jammu, but the much needed OPD facility could not be operationalised earlier due to various reasons. Now the Wellness Centre has been shifted to the accommodation provided by Government of Jammu & Kashmir and renovated by CPWD at an expenditure of Rs 9.5 lakh. |
