| Nasir concerned over discrimination with Chenab region | | | Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Sept 9: Congress leader Sheikh Nasir Hussain has expressed concern over the alleged discrimination with Chenab region. In a statement issued to press, Sheikh Nasir has said it is very unfortunate that Chenab region has not been given representation in the cabinet despite the fact that out of 6 seats 5 have been won by Congress. He has further said that after the dismissal of the only minister from Chenab region, no one was taken in the cabinet which has affected the development in the area. He has said that Congress has MLAs like Mohd Sharif Niaz, Abdul Majeed Wani and Vikar Rasool from Chenab region who are not only honest, dedicated but are having clean image. Congress leader has appealed party High Command that at least two among these MLAs be inducted in the cabinet and induction of any tainted MLA who himself or his children are involved in the cases be avoided. |
