Jammu, Sept 9 : Sunrise (Marine Consultancy) organized a free Career Counselling programme at Ashoka Hotel B.C Road Jammu. The main Motto is to organize career counselling programme to give the awareness, Knowledge guidance among the young generation of Jammu and Kashmir. How to join merchant navy field. S. Jagbir Singh Retd Lt. Commander Indian Navy was the chief guest of the programme and he is also the advisor of sunrise. He said my son Capt Harinder Singh is also in merchant navy for the last many years and serving in Shipping Corporation of India. Rajesh Sharma CEO of sunrise said we are in career counseling since 2006 and giving guidance, awareness counseling to the young generation of Jammu & Kashmir state to join merchant navy. Still we are not able to reach each and every corner of the state. He said there is no Marine College in our Jammu& Kashmir state which is approved by Directorate General of Shipping Govt of India and Ministry of Shipping not even in Himachal Prade Punjab and Chandigarh. |
