| Er. Rashid reacts to Dr Farooq's statement | | | Early Times Report
Langate, Sept 9: Reacting sharply to National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah's remarks that New Delhi will never beg of the separatists for talks, MLA Langate Er Abdul Rashid today asked the NC president to exercise restraint and show some respect towards sacrifices given by Kashmiri People. The fire brand leader also advised Dr Abdullah and his party men not to pass 'irresponsible comments'. While addressing a public gathering at Lachampora Rajwar in frontier district of Kupwara, Rashid said, "Had NC and its leadership performed its duties towards Kashmiri People, situation and history would have been all together different".
He reminded Dr Farooq of 'the failures of NC leadership including Late Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah in playing a historic role which it could and should have played since 1947 till date'. ( KNS) |
