Hardliner separatists scared of dialogue: NC | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Sept 10: In an obvious reference to Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani, National Conference additional general secretary Mustafa Kamaal today lashed out at the separatist hardliners accusing them of shying away from dialogue. "This hardliner and his ilk is so scared to come on the negotiating table that they some way or the other are trying to shy away from it without understanding that it adds to the problems faced by the people of the state", said Kamaal in a statement issued here. "Since all the funds from their bosses across the border have stopped and has been left to fend for himself, he has been issuing inappropriate statements. Since he has been rendered irrelevant, he has become a lose canon", he added Welcoming Indo- Pak talks and its positive outcome the additional general secretary said, "When after fighting four wars our neighboring country understands that dialogue is the only way forward, it is understood that hardliners here want the pot boiling and this uncertainty to continue" Kamal welcomed the Mirwaiz Molvi Farooq's statement that they are ready for talks and said that good sense should prevail on the others as well to understand that talks are the only that could lead to a purposeful solution of the issue. The Senior NC leader reiterated the party stand that autonomy is the only solution that can create an atmosphere of peace and brotherhood. |
