NSUI expresses concern over re-employment of retired employees | | | Early Times Report Kishtwar, Sept 10 : National Students Union of India (NSUI) expressed concern and resentment over the appointment of retired employees at the cost of unemployed youths in power projects proposed to be constructed under joint venture. In this connection, delegation of NSUI under the leadership of District President NSUI Kishtwar Saqib Lone met former minister and MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori and shows his concern over appointments of retired employees in power projects and discussed the various problems faced by the unemployment youth of District Kishtwar. Saqib Lone said that number of power projects in joint venture is going to be started in Kishtwar District in which maximum number of retired government officials are being appointed which according to NSUI is totally unfair and against unemployed youth who are fighting hard for their survival which forces them to come on streets on each passing day in entire state. He said that there are many trained and educated youth of Kishtwar who should be given priority while making appointments in these projects. Saroori gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assures that Youth will be given priority in these power projects and they will not be ignored at all and they will get their job in joint venture projects. He also said that youth should fight for their rights and work for the prosperity of the nation in right direction. He urged upon them not to fall the prey to ill will design of some vested interest politicians who wants to use the power of the youths for their personal benefits, besides to settle their political and personal scores at the cost of the carrier of the youths. Those who were present on the occasion were President GDC Kishtwar Aftab Siddiqui, Senior NSUI members Yasir Ali Want, Madan Bhandari, Rafeeq Ahmed, Sheikh Naved, Ratan Lal, Abid Hussain and other. |
