| Rs. 45.93 cr spent in Pulwama | | |

Expenditure to the tune of Rs. 45.93 under district plan upto end January has been incurred in Pulwama district on various welfare programmes and developmental works.
This was stated in district officers meeting chaired by District Development Commissioner, Pulwama.
The meeting was informed that under Agriculture and allied services Rs. 6.40 crore were incurred which include Rs. 77.35 lakh under Agriculture, Rs. 81.30 lakh under Horticulture, Rs. 94.21 lakh under Animal Husbandry and Rs. 1.27 crore under Minor Irrigation.
Under Rural Development sector, 4.81 crore were utilized and Rs. 1.55 crore incurred under Industries sector in the district during the current fiscal upto ending January, which include Rs. 44.49 lakh under Handicrafts, Rs. 70.54 lakh under DIC and Rs. 18.78 lakh under Sericulture.Besides, under Communication sector, Rs. 9.99 crore were spent while under Social and General services Rs. 22.67 crore were expended.
