| 20 officials of CAPD put under suspension | | | Jammu, Feb 8
In order to streamline and rationalize the procedure for allotment of K.oil and its distribution in Jammu distt within municipal limits of Jammu, Government have placed twenty officials of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, Jammu under suspension with immediate effect who failed to submit the information regarding location of K.oil depots, its distribution process, de-canting of oil, storage capacity of each dealer and checking of register maintained by the respective dealers.
It is pertinent to mention here that a decision was taken about a preliminary survey would be conducted by the field functionaries and accordingly they would submit the information in respect of each K. oil depot, signed by the Area Inspectors, Chief Inspectors and Assistant Director of the concerned area. The assignment was directed to be completed by Jan. 31, 2007.
