| BJP condemn Lathi charge on Excise employees | | | Jammu | Feb 8
The district President of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Karinder Gupta here condemned the lathi charge on class IV, employees of JK Excise and Commercial department at Indra chowk yesterday.
Gupta, in a chat with media person here today said, one fails to understand, why the Govt. is having callous attitude with striking employees and added their conditions are going from bad to worst and even three employees attempted self immolation during demonstration.
He urged upon the state govt. these employees should not been removed from services as they have put more than eight of service in the deptt. He warned the Govt. don’t play with the lives of the employees and settle their problems without any more deady.
Gupta said, BJP is fully with the employees and if Govt. failed, party workers will come out on road and will support employees struggle against the injustice.
