| Provincial Teachers Association demand release of salary | | | DODA FEB-09
The district unit of the Provincial Teachers Association held a meeting here today under the chairmanship of President Shakeel Ahmed Dev and highlighted their genuine demands, which included immediately release of pending salary of last two months
The meeting alleged that despite repeated requests the authorities have not released the grants under the salary head so far, as a result of which the teachers were suffering badly. The speakers at the meeting have appealed to the Chief Minister and the Education Minister to release the grants at the earliest.
Among others Akhtar Hussain Nehru, Farooq Ahmed Mintoo and Krishan Chand attended the meeting.
