| Capacity building camp concludes | | | DODA, FEB 09
A 10-day capacity building camp for the teachers of the District, organized under the aegis of Sarva Sikhsha Abiyan (SSA), concluded here today. The camp was held in different areas of the District including Banihal ,Ukhral ,Khari, Batote, Assar ,Ghat ,Ramban ,Bhagwa ,Bhadarwah , Drabshala and other far off areas for the first time. About 2000 teachers participated in the training camp.
The Chief Education Officer D. C.Chib interacted with the teachers and delivered lecturers on various topics.
Addressing at the concluding function Chib impressed upon the teaching community to use different techniques for imparting education to the students to suit the present needs of the changing world. He called upon them to avoid use of harsh language with the taught in the schools and always try to understand their problems and act as a friend in the classroom so that they can learn easily.
The second phase of the camp will start from tomorrow in left out areas of the district where the teachers would be provided training about the modern techniques of education.
