| Community centre dedicated | | | Jammu, 9 February
9 MADRAS (TRAVANCORE) under the aegis of Krishna Ghati Brigade under military civil action project Operation Sadbhavana dedicated a community Development Centre to the villagers of Tain, Tehsil Mendhar, District Poonch on 08 February 2007. The community development centre was inaugurated by Commander Krishna Ghati Brigade. To motivate the children books, school bags and stationery were distributed. Village Tain, which is one of the remotest villages, lies close to the Line of Control, provision of a Community Development Centre at the village provides an avenue for villagers to discuss issues of development, organize marriages, central functions and celebrations. Construction of community Development Centre at their remote village was received with considerable joy and happiness by the villagers. said a PIB (Defence Wing) release.
