Two bootleggers were held by Border Police in a raid at village Karyal, R S Pura during the last intervening night. Meanwhile, four persons were arrested at Chowala Morh on gambling charges.
According to reports, SHO R S Pura conducted an excise raid at village Karyal during the last intervening night and arrested two persons namely Karnail Singh, son of Bazi Ram of Sai and Rashpal Singh, son of Thoru Ram of Karyal for violating excise norms. The duo has been booked under 50-A Excise Act.
Meanwhile, four persons were arrested at Chowala Morh on the charges of gambling. They have been identified as Satish Kumar, son of Gunder, Chock Ram, son of Phool Chand, Romesh, son of Beas Ram and Hem Chand, son of Aya Ram all residents of Chhatisgarh presently residing at Chowala Morh. All the persons have been booked under 13 gambling act.
