“The Transparent Times” an English weekly was launched here today. Farooq Ahmad Renzu Director Information was the chief guest on the occasion to release the copy of the news paper while speaking outlined the scope of print media in the state and also at national and international level. He appreciated the efforts of the editor. Dr. Rehmatullah in this direction. Speaking on the occasion Khalid Hussain a noted writer referring to the title of the paper being “transparent” stressed upon the team of the News paper to print a material based on facts and figures.
Wali Mohd bhat Director Audit and Inspections, also thanked the people present on the occasion. He made a special reference of the efforts of Renzu under with whose guidance the information deptt. has made manifold improvement.
Others present on the occasion were G.A Qureshi Director local bodies Jammu Zargar Add. Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Dr, A. Rashid, Dr. A.A. Kilu.
Editor Dr. Rehmatullah underlined the need of the news paper which would not only cover the remotest areas like Kupwara, Uri Tangdhar Poonch, Rajuri, Doda of the state but will make utmost efforts to reach the needy and highlight the day to day affairs in a very transparent and clean way based on facts and figures which may be a liking of every one.
