| EJAC to hold protest rally | | | JAMMU | FEB 9 All J and k Government Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) is going to launch a state level agitation from Feb 14th, said the state president of organisation Ram Kumar Sharma while addressing a press conference here today. He said that the organisation can go to any extend if their demands are not entertained by the government. While speaking, he demanded the implementation of the 6th pay commission to the state government employees and revival of Mediclaim Policy after black listing banks against which crores of rupees are pending. He also stressed upon government to check Labour exploitation and enhancement of wagers and regularization of daily wages, contingent pad local fund, Rehbare-Taleem, Rehbar-e-Zirrat, Anganwari Workers, Contractual and adhoc employees who have completed five years. He further demanded that the retirement age should be increased from 58 years to 60 years. “ Full pension benefits should be granted after 21 years qualifying service rather than 33 years” he said and added maintenance of GP funds account by the state government through DDDs. The other leaders of EJAC who were present in the Press Conference were Abdul Quyoom Wani, Mohd. Gafoor Dar, Balwan Singh Jamwal, Ghulam Mohd. Budgami, S.
