| PCC welcomes passing of Roshni Bill | | | Jammu Feb 9
Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress committee has welcomed the passing of Roshin bill in the assembly today and described it as a historical decision of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad led coalition government.
In a statement PCC president Peerzad Mohd Sayeed congratulated the Chief minister for passing the Roshni Bill in the State Assembly. He said the decision is more historic because it pertains to the common masses and poor public who has been given the ownership right of the land by paying amount of meager Rs 100/- per kanal through the bill
Sayeed said that in the amended Roshni bill various categories of people will be benefited especially the small farmers. Prominent Congress leaders Dharam Pal Sharma, Parduman Singh Azad, Yashpaul Khajuria, Amit Malhotra, R.S.Chib, Janak Raj Gupta, Haider Sheikh, Arvinder Singh, Vinod Sharma, Kanta Bhan, Baldev Sharma, Amin Bhatt also welcomed the passing of Roshni Act.
