Hiranagar police arrested two Bovine Smugglers he today and recovered 12 bovines from their possession which were loaded in a tuck.
According to reports, having booked the information about smuggling of bovines in the area, police laid a naka in the area. During the course of checking a truck bearing number JK02A /5696 broke the naka and tried to flee away. But the deputed police personals chased the defaulters and arrested them along with bovines.
The arrested persons have been identified as Amzad Khan Son of Abdul Rashid, resident of Phinder RS Pura and Shamsher Lal son of Indre Das resident of Bishnah.
Police have registered a case in this regard and is investigating the matter.
